The papers are designed to resist fading. You are able to load 20 sheets of photo paper at a time, unless you are printing stickers.

With the HP Photosmart 380, you are able to choose color effects for your pictures. You can leave it as it is in full color or change it to black and white, sepia or antique. You are able to change the color directly from the printer itslef. The printer also allows you to do other creative things by cropping your photos and adding decoratve frames to the pictures.

Improving the quality of your pictures is easy with the HP Photosmart 380. The printer has several effects and settings that are able to improve the quality of your printed photos. It will not change the original picture-only what you decide to print at the moment. With the settings, you are able to remove red eye, sharpen blurred photos, improve the lighting and contrast in the prints and inprove the brightness. Directions are available in the user guide and are very clear and easy to follow.

You do not need a computer to print pictures from the HP Photosmart 380. After you have taken pictures with a digital camera, remove the memory card and insert it into the printer. The printer will read the memory card and you can edit your pictures if needed. After it reads the card, the printer will allow you to view them on the printer screen. The printer allows you to view pictures one by one or nine at a a time.

You are able to choose what kind of layout you want your pictures in. You can have one picture per sheet or you may decide to make them smaller and have two or four per sheet of paper.

When you are ready to print your photos, the HP Photosmart 380 allows you to print them one at a time or print a continuous range of pictures. You are able to print more than one of each picture and you are even able to print a selected frame from a video clip! That means that printing the video can be done!
