The HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless color inkjet printer can be a very successful replacement of a laser printer in your small office or business. Even the cheapest laser printers cannot beat the HP Officejet Pro 8000 because it has its own unique set of features like fast printing speed, print quality, wireless and very cheap ink cartridges.

The HP Officejet Pro 8000 printer has truly amazing ink cartridges, especially because they are so cheap. Color ink cartridge costs about 20 dollars and is able to print 900 pages (that is 2.2 cents per page). HP also offers the extended cartridges which are able to print 2200 pages and costs around 36 dollars for black ink (1.9 cents). These high yield ink cartridges are even cheaper to use. Officejet Pro 8000 is quite easy to install and prepare for work via wireless setup; however, it does take a while because there are a lot of steps to go through.

The HP Officejet Pro 8000 has got a very well developed wireless feature. The panel is thicker and HP included automated duplex printing which is definitely an advantage. There are only 3 control buttons on the panel which include: cancel, resume and wireless. The wireless button switches between the wireless mode on and off. Press and hold the wireless button and the printer will print out the network settings for you.

The HP Officejet Pro 8000 printer is slow at printing; in fact, it is one of the fastest. It averages the speed of 10.3 ppm for text pages (pages per minute). With this speed, Officejet Pro 8000 is able to compete even with some low-end laser printers. The black text print quality is good, with no visible distortions.

All in all, the HP Officejet Pro 8000 wireless printer can be definitely fitted in your office. As an inkjet printer it is still suited for office and business use because of its wireless features and HP Officejet Pro 8000 doesn’t fall behind even some low-end laser printers. For a price of 180 dollars, Officejet Pro 8000 is certainly worth looking into.
